This male Golden-browed Chlorophonia and its mate were busy gorging on fruits at Paraíso Quetzal Lodge in April of 2022. I'd seen these birds before, but this was the first time that I really got to spend quality time with them. I stood for hours in the cold rain as they filled themselves with berries.
